Head Chef

GOA SAYA, part of Saya Group, is a growing hospitality brand located in PIK 2, Jakarta, built around one belief — that dining should feel like coming home.

Our concept blends artistry, craftsmanship, and comfort through dishes that tell stories rooted in flavor and culture.

We are currently looking for a Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and help define the culinary direction of GOA SAYA.

This is a leadership role for someone with both technical mastery and creative intuition — someone who understands that food is not just prepared, but crafted with intention and feeling.

• Lead daily kitchen operations to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency across all service periods.
• Develop and execute creative menus that reflect GOA SAYA’s culinary identity — refined, soulful, and inspired by Indonesian and Asian flavors.
• Oversee recipe development, costing, portion control, and inventory management
• Mentor and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of discipline, hygiene, and teamwork.
• Coordinate with management to achieve both creative and financial goals, including food cost and waste control.
• Collaborate closely with the operations and service teams to ensure smooth communication and execution.
• Uphold the brand’s standard of presentation, taste, and storytelling through every plate served.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Head Chef or Sous Chef in fine or premium dining establishments.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
• Deep understanding of Indonesian and Asian fusion cuisine — with a passion for innovation grounded in authenticity.
• Proven ability to balance creativity with operational discipline (costing, scheduling, SOP implementation).
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Hands-on, reliable, and ready to lead by example in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
