Engineering Supervisor

The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the Engineering Department to ensure all hotel facilities, equipment, and utilities are maintained in a safe, efficient, and operational condition. This role oversees preventive and corrective maintenance programs while supporting the operational needs of all departments and delivering excellent guest experiences.

1. Supervise and lead the Engineering team in carrying out daily maintenance and repair activities.
2. Ensure all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, swimming pool, electrical systems, plumbing, air conditioning, and mechanical equipment are functioning properly.
3. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion.
4. Conduct regular inspections of building facilities and identify maintenance issues before they affect operations.
5. Assign daily tasks, monitor work performance, and provide guidance and training to Engineering Staff.
6. Coordinate and supervise repairs conducted by external contractors and service providers when required.
7. Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and equipment documentation accurately.
8. Monitor inventory levels of engineering supplies, tools, and spare parts, and submit purchase requests when necessary.
9. Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and company policies, including emergency procedures and fire safety regulations.
10. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and operational emergencies.
11. Collaborate closely with other departments to support daily operational requirements and special projects.
12. Assist management in budgeting and cost control related to engineering operations and maintenance expenses.
13. Prepare weekly and monthly engineering reports for management review.
14. Perform other duties assigned by Management related to the Engineering Department.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Engineering Supervisor or Senior Engineering Staff in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, air conditioning (AC), swimming pool maintenance, and building maintenance.
• Familiar with preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting techniques.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Able to work independently and handle multiple maintenance priorities effectively.
• Good communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office applications are preferred).
• Honest, disciplined, responsible, and service-oriented.
• Willing to work flexible hours and respond to operational emergencies when required.
• Able to join immediately is preferred.
