We are looking for a Sous Chef (Dessert) — a passionate and skilled pastry professional who’s ready to lead with both artistry and discipline.

Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan :
• Lead and oversee daily operations of the pastry section, ensuring consistency and excellence in all dessert preparations.
• Collaborate closely with the Head Chef to design, test, and refine dessert menus that align with GOA SAYA’s culinary philosophy.
• Maintain quality control for taste, presentation, and texture across all plated desserts.
• Supervise and mentor junior pastry chefs, providing guidance and training in modern pastry and plating techniques.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment while maintaining food hygiene and safety standards.
• Manage ingredient inventory, cost control, and minimize waste without compromising quality.
• Coordinate with service and kitchen teams to ensure seamless plating and timing during operations.
Kualifikasi Pekerjaan :
• Minimum 3 years of experience in pastry or dessert for fine dining establishments.
• Strong technical foundation and creative ability in pastry, baking, and dessert production.
• Skilled in modern plating, temperature control, and flavor pairing.
• Excellent time management, leadership, and team coordination.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and calm under pressure.
• Passionate about innovation and continuous learning within the craft of dessert-making.
