Steward

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Steward to maintain cleanliness and efficiency in our kitchen. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure all dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly. You will also support the culinary team by keeping the overall kitchen environment safe, hygienic, and organized.

• Dishwashing and Sanitizing: Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils manually or by operating commercial dishwashing machines.
• Kitchen Cleanliness: Sweep and mop kitchen floors, wipe down walls, clean worktables, and sanitize food preparation surfaces regularly throughout the shift.
• Waste and Garbage Disposal: Empty all kitchen trash cans, replace liners, sort recyclable materials, and safely dispose of commercial kitchen grease and garbage in external dumpsters.
• Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain heavy kitchen equipment, such as ovens, grills, hoods, walk-in refrigerators, and the dishwashing machine itself, according to safety standards.
• Inventory and Storage: Organize, stack, and store clean tableware and cookware in designated storage areas to minimize breakage and ensure easy access for chefs.

• Previous experience in the hospitality industry
