Electrical Engineer ( UPS & PAC )

PT Gunung Sawo is seeking an Electrical Engineer – UPS & PAC to support the reliability and performance of UPS, battery, and Precision Air Conditioning (PAC) systems.

PT Gunung Sawo was established in 1990 and specializes in Electronic Systems, including Data Center Infrastructure, Structured Cabling Systems, CCTV, CATV/MATV/IPTV, and Digital CAS. The company is an authorized distributor/agent for various international brands from France, Switzerland, Spain, the United States, Turkey, and China.

• Maintain the reliability of UPS, battery, and PAC systems to ensure continuous facility operations.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting/repairs.
• Handle alarms, conduct root cause analysis, and escalate issues to vendors when necessary.
• Prepare service reports, checklists, and repair recommendations.
• Support the installation and commissioning of new units.

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of experience handling UPS and/or PAC (Precision Air Conditioner) systems, ideally in data centers, telecommunications, hospitals, or critical facilities.
• Understanding of UPS systems: rectifiers, inverters, bypasses, battery banks, ATS, grounding, and distribution panels.
• Understanding of PAC/precision HVAC systems: temperature/humidity control, refrigerants, compressors, evaporators, condensers, and CRAC/CRAH units.
• Capable of performing installation, commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in reading wiring diagrams, single-line diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Knowledgeable regarding electrical safety (K3) standards and safe work procedures.
• Willing to work shifts, remain on standby/on-call, and travel to project sites.
• Communicative and detail-oriented; capable of preparing work reports and coordinating with vendors/clients.
• Certifications in K3 (Occupational Health & Safety), HVAC/refrigeration, or specific product certifications (Schneider, Vertiv, Eaton, STULZ) are an advantage.
