Sales Engineer PLTS

Become a Sales Engineer with PT Optima Daya Energi, a leading provider of renewable energy solutions in South Jakarta. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for driving sales of our solar power systems to commercial and residential customers. You will leverage your strong technical expertise to assess client needs, design tailored solar solutions, and close sales deals while ensuring customer satisfaction and project success.

1. Identify and develop potential customers while achieving solar PV (PLTS) sales targets in both B2B and B2C markets;
2. Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product proposals, and cost simulations to demonstrate the benefits of solar PV systems;
3. Conduct site visits and energy assessments to evaluate client requirements and design suitable solar solutions;
4. Understand client needs and provide tailored solar PV solutions that align with their operational and financial goals;
5. Manage sales pipeline, follow up on prospects, and secure potential business opportunities to support project acquisition.

1. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field;
2. Minimum 1 year of experience in sales engineering, technical sales, or renewable energy industry (Fresh Graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply);
3. Strong technical understanding of solar power systems, including solar panels, inverters, mounting systems, and other components;
4. Ability to conduct site visits, energy assessments, and prepare technical proposals and system specifications;
5. Experience in handling client presentations, negotiations, and contract closing;
6. Good understanding of solar energy regulations and industry trends is an advantage;
7. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills;
