Steward ( Daily Worker )

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas, equipment, utensils, and back-of-house areas to support smooth restaurant operations.

Main Responsibilities

• Wash and clean plates, glasses, cutlery, cooking equipment, and kitchen utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and stewarding area.
• Clean floors, walls, sinks, drains, and other back-of-house areas.
• Collect and dispose of garbage according to company procedures.
• Ensure garbage bins are clean and properly maintained.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of kitchen equipment and facilities.
• Support the kitchen team during busy operational periods.
• Ensure all cleaned equipment and utensils are properly stored.
• Follow proper hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
• Report damaged equipment or maintenance issues to the Supervisor.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area.
• Assist with preparation and cleaning before and after events.

• Minimum high school/vocational school graduate preferred.
• Previous experience as Steward is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
• Hardworking, responsible, disciplined, and reliable.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Able to join immediately is preferred.
