Commis

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, assisting senior chefs with various cooking tasks, and maintaining a clean, organized workstation. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring chef to develop their culinary skills, learn classic techniques, and grow within a professional kitchen environment.

• Food Preparation (Mise en Place): Wash, peel, chop, slice, and portion vegetables, meats, seafood, and other ingredients according to standard recipes and chef instructions.
• Station Support: Assist senior chefs (Demi Chef de Partie and Chef de Partie) on various kitchen stations (e.g., sauce, grill, larder, or pastry) during busy service hours.
• Basic Cooking Duties: Carry out fundamental cooking tasks under supervision, such as boiling, simmering, sautéing, frying, or preparing basic stocks and sauces.
• Plating and Presentation: Assist in assembling, plating, and garnishing dishes neatly and consistently before they are sent out to guests.
• Kitchen Sanitation: Clean, sanitize, and organize workstations, cutting boards, knives, and kitchen equipment continuously to ensure a safe working environment.

• Previous experience in the hospitality industry
