Pattern Maker Staff

We are seeking a highly skilled Pattern Maker to join our garment manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing accurate garment patterns, ensuring product fit and construction quality, and supporting the product development process from design concept through production. This role requires strong technical expertise in pattern making, garment construction, fitting, grading, and fabric consumption calculation.

• Develop and revise garment patterns based on design sketches, technical drawings, and sample requirements.
• Create initial sample specifications and technical packages for product development.
• Collaborate closely with the Design Team to interpret design concepts and ensure product feasibility.
• Analyze garment fit issues and implement pattern corrections to achieve the desired fit, balance, and appearance.
• Ensure all garment specifications and measurements are accurate and production-ready.
• Create and modify patterns using Optitex CAD Software.
• Perform grading of patterns according to size specifications.
• Prepare marker layouts and calculate fabric consumption efficiently.
• Identify opportunities to improve garment construction, fit, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Support sample development and provide technical guidance during sample creation.
• Lead fit sessions and execute fit corrections from development through production stages.
• Coordinate with Merchandising, Production, and Development teams regarding sample approval status and development timelines.
• Ensure all approved specifications are correctly implemented before bulk production.
• Monitor product quality standards and support quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in regular development meetings to maintain sample approval schedules and production timelines.
• Communicate technical requirements effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and development records.

• Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Technical Design, Pattern Making, or Garment Product Development.
• Proficient in Optitex CAD Software (Version 21 or above).
• Strong knowledge of pattern making, grading, marker making, garment construction, fabric consumption calculation, and quality control processes.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent sewing and sample-making skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proactive, result-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as within a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions

• Placement: Tegal Alur, Kalideres, West Jakarta.
• Working Days: Monday – Saturday.
• Full-Time Position.
