Video Editor

We are looking for a talented Video Editor to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches director’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting. Ultimately, as a Video Editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story. Video editors transform raw clips and video footage into high-quality finished videos used to inform, engage, and inspire their audience. They use specialized software applications and editing tools to merge content from multiple sources and add pictures, graphics, visual effects, voice, sound effects, and music.

Job description： 1. Hands on to shoot and editing the video mainly for Social Media (Tiktok & IG Reels). 2. Communicate with content planning and product teams to complete video works. 3. Improving and correcting lighting, coloring and faulty footage. 4. Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience 5. Take a brief to grasp production team’s needs and specifications 6. Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity 7. Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film 8. Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects 9. Create rough and final cuts 10. Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running 11. Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process 12. Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.

· Bachelor degree in Cinematography or related major. · Able to communicate in English. · Skilled in Adobe After Effect/ Adobe Premier/ Final Cut Pro/ Cap Cut/ Photo Shop. · Creative mind and storytelling skills. · Have experience in editing footage or at least familiarity of beauty products especially for TikTok would be an advantage. · Have a strong grasp of the thinking rhythm of short video users, and are familiar with the characteristics of short video social platforms, user preferences, content gameplay, and product logic; · Able to do WFO and join ASAP.
