Retail Assistant

Responsible for delivering excellent service, processing sales transactions via POS systems, and maintaining store merchandising

1. Customer Service: Greeting customers, answering queries, providing product information, and offering recommendations
2. Sales & Transactions: Processing payments (cash/card), handling exchanges, returns, and refunds
3. Store Maintenance: Restocking shelves, merchandising products, and ensuring the sales floor is clean and organized
4. Inventory & Stock: Unloading deliveries, conducting stock counts, and monitoring inventory levels
5. Loss Prevention: Monitoring the shop floor to prevent theft

1. Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
2. Math Skills: Basic numerical skills for handling cash registers and transactions
3. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and handle manual tasks like lifting stock
4. Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
5. Product Knowledge: Ability to quickly learn and explain product features
