Commis Garde Manger

Bigland Bogor Hotel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Commis Garde Manger to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality cold dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen.

• Prepare and produce high-quality food according to standard recipes and hotel standards.
• Assist in the preparation, presentation, decoration, and storage of cold dishes.
• Prepare salads, appetizers, charcuterie, pâtés, and other cold kitchen items.
• Ensure food presentation meets hotel quality standards.
• Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, requesting ingredients, and minimizing waste.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene within the Garde Manger station.
• Support buffet preparation, food storage, and replenishment during service periods.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely food service.
• Prepare all necessary ingredients, materials, and equipment before service.
• Clean and organize the work area after each shift.
• Participate in daily briefings, training sessions, and departmental meetings.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the same position within a four-star hotel or higher.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards is mandatory.
• Skilled in preparing cold kitchen items and buffet presentations.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and cleanliness.
• Guest service-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Honest, disciplined, and responsible.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
