Travel Ticketing Specialist

A Travel Ticketing Specialist is responsible for arranging and issuing travel tickets for customers. Depending on the employer, the role may cover airline travel only or also include trains, buses, ferries, hotels, and travel packages.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Booking domestic and international flights especialy Umroh
• Issuing, reissuing, refunding, and canceling tickets.
• Advising customers on fares, routes, baggage policies, and travel requirements.
• Using reservation systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport Galileo.
• Managing reservations and itinerary changes.
• Coordinating with airlines and other travel suppliers.
• Processing payments and maintaining accurate booking records.
• Providing customer support before, during, and after travel.

High school diploma or equivalent (many employers prefer a diploma or bachelor's degree in tourism, hospitality, or a related field).

Training or certification in a GDS is often an advantage.

Experience in travel agencies, airlines, or customer service is commonly preferred.

Good English proficiency can be valuable, especially for international travel.
