Lead Structural Engineer

Matcha Talent is currently partnering with a professional architectural and engineering consultancy company that providing integrated design and technical services for development and industrial projects in Indonesia. Established in 2025, this consulting firm provides end-to-end architectural, structural, and MEP engineering services, supporting projects from concept development through detailed design, documentation, and regulatory approvals (including PBG & SLF).

The Structural Engineer is responsible for delivering safe, compliant, and efficient structural designs that support architectural intent and regulatory requirements. This role works closely with architects and MEP engineers to ensure integrated project execution from design development through construction support.

In this early and development stage, the person will be closely working with the General Manager, and acts as the Engineer-in-Charge for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with Indonesian structural codes and regulations, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders from concept, design development, to construction documentation.

Structural Design & Analysis

• Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Develop structural concepts aligned with architectural and site constraints.
• Ensure structural safety, efficiency, and constructability.

Regulatory & Documentation Support

• Prepare structural documentation for regulatory submissions.
• Ensure designs comply with Indonesian building codes and standards.
• Support authority reviews and technical clarifications.

Coordination & Construction Support

• Coordinate with architects and MEP engineers on integrated design.
• Review shop drawings and provide technical support during construction.
• Respond to site and contractor technical inquiries.

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with valid SIP (Surat Izin Praktik) and relevant SKK (Sertifikat Kompetensi Kerja).
2. Minimum 7 years of experience in structural engineering roles, including responsibility as Engineer-in-Charge.
3. Industry Background: Architecture consultancy, engineering consultancy, or industrial or regulated development projects.
4. Core Expertise: Structural analysis and design; Concrete and steel structure systems; Indonesian structural codes and standards.
5. Tools & Systems: ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, or similar; AutoCAD (mandatory).
6. Proficient in English (professional level to understand technical terms and to communicate with stakeholders).
