Multimedia Producer

The Jakarta Post is seeking a Multimedia Producer to develop and manage original multimedia A.V. programming across its digital platforms. This role is responsible for transforming editorial and strategic directions into structured multimedia content series while ensuring consistent storytelling, creative direction, and production quality across channels.

• Translate quarterly strategic direction into structured, executable multimedia series, including defined formats and narrative structures.
• Lead creative execution and ensure format consistency (tone, pacing, visual language) across platforms in alignment with the approved content vision.
• Oversee end-to-end multimedia production (short-form and long-form), including planning, budgeting, timelines, resources, and delivery.
• Manage external execution teams and ensure production quality and efficiency in line with the established creative direction.
• Own the internal multimedia content calendar and series rollout in coordination with Social Media Campaign.
• Align content programming and distribution strategy with audience growth, brand objectives, and retention goals.
• Execute approved branded and campaign-related multimedia briefs while maintaining content on an occasional basis.
• Collaborate with Audience, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure strategic alignment and resolve operational issues at the team level before escalation.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Multimedia Producer or in related roles within end-to-end content production. Candidate with experience in Media company will be prioritized.
• Has a Bachelor Degree in Multimedia, Broadcasting, Digital Marketing, or related subjects.
• Familiarity with video editing software/tools and project management platforms is preferred.
• Has a strong verbal and written communication skills, familiar working with a wide range of stakeholders.
