Staff Daycare

We are currently seeking a caring, responsible, and enthusiastic Daycare Staff member to join Stala Growth & Wellbeing Centre. The successful candidate will support children’s daily care, safety, and developmental activities in a warm, nurturing, and structured environment.

Working Hours : Monday – Friday: 09:00 – 17:00 WITA, Sunday: 09:00 – 12:00 WITA

1. Supervise and ensure the safety, wellbeing, and comfort of children during daycare hours.
2. Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that support children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and motor development.
3. Maintain a clean, organised, and child-friendly environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
4. Support children with daily routines such as mealtime, hygiene, rest time, and transitions between activities.
5. Observe and report children’s progress, behaviour, and any concerns to supervisors or parents professionally.
6. Communicate warmly and effectively with parents regarding daily updates and children’s wellbeing.
7. Work collaboratively with the centre team to create a positive and nurturing atmosphere.

• Minimum of Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Nursing.
• Experience in caring for children
• Able to carry out basic health assessments and provide first aid.
• Good understanding of child growth and development, as well as hygiene and safety standards for children.
• Patient, caring, able to communicate effectively with parents, and capable of working as part of a team.
