Mandarin Translator

China Wu Yi Co., Ltd is an international construction company involved in infrastructure and development projects. The Mandarin Translator will support communication between Chinese expatriate management and Indonesian staff by translating technical documents and providing interpretation during meetings, office coordination, and project site activities.

•  Provide real-time Mandarin–Bahasa Indonesia interpretation during site inspections, HSE briefings, and technical coordination meetings
•  Translate technical documents including construction drawings, manuals, project reports, and internal correspondence from Mandarin to Bahasa Indonesia
•  Assist Chinese management with communication related to local administration, vendors, and subcontractors
•  Support coordination between expatriate staff and Indonesian project teams to ensure technical instructions are accurately conveyed
•  Prepare periodic progress reports and project updates in Mandarin for submission to the Head Office in China
•  Participate in meetings at the office or project sites to ensure effective communication between project stakeholders 

•  Minimum 1–2 years of professional experience as a Mandarin Translator or Interpreter
•  Minimum HSK 4 certification or higher from an official language institution
•  Proficiency in Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbal
•  Ability to translate technical documents and provide consecutive or real-time interpretation during meetings
•  Understanding of construction-related terminology such as subcontractor coordination, site planning, procurement, and civil works documentation
•  Willingness to travel for business trips or project site assignments when required
•  Ability to handle project documents, reports, and company communication in Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia
