Junior Lawyer

JBD Law Firm is seeking a driven and ambitious Junior Lawyer to join our growing team in Jakarta. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of legal matters, gain hands-on experience, and contribute directly to the firm’s continued growth and success. The successful candidate will support senior lawyers in delivering high-quality legal services while developing strong professional and technical legal skills.

• Conducting legal research and analysis to support senior lawyers in providing high-quality legal advice to clients
• Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and memoranda
• Assisting with the preparation of legal proceedings and court appearances
• Maintaining a thorough understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and legal developments
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of legal services
• Participating in ongoing professional development and training to enhance your legal expertise

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (S.H.) from an accredited university.
• Possess a solid basic understanding of Corporate Law, Civil Law, and/or Criminal Law.
• Holding an Advocate License or currently undergoing advocate apprenticeship is preferred.
• Able to conduct legal research, draft legal opinions, contracts, and other legal documents.
• Demonstrates strong legal analysis skills that are systematic and solution-oriented.
• Capable of working under tight deadlines and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Has excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a strong advantage.
• Maintains high integrity, upholds professional ethics, and takes full responsibility for assigned work.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Displays a professional, well-groomed, and presentable demeanor as a representative of the firm.
• Willing to work flexibly and be deployed according to case and client needs.
