Bahasa Indonesia Teacher

We are seeking a knowledgeable, passionate, and engaging Bahasa Indonesia teacher to teach at the Primary and/or Secondary level. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering meaningful and interactive lessons that foster literacy skills, critical thinking, character development, and civic responsibility among students

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday: 07:00 – 16:30 WITA
• Sunday: 08:00 – 12:00 WITA

1. Lesson Planning and Implementation: Designing and delivering structured, engaging, and student-centered lessons in Bahasa Indonesia in accordance with the curriculum and students’ developmental levels.
2. Literacy and Civic Development: Developing students’ reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills in Bahasa Indonesia, while fostering understanding of national values, citizenship, democracy, and constitutional principles through PPKn lessons.
3. Assessment and Evaluation: Conducting formative and summative assessments to ensure students’ learning outcomes meet the Minimum Competency Criteria (KKM) and providing constructive feedback to support academic improvement.
4. Classroom Management: Maintaining a safe, organised, and inclusive learning environment that encourages respectful discussion, collaboration, and active participation.
5. Character Building and Student Support: Promoting character education, national identity, ethical behavior, and social responsibility in alignment with school values.
6. Collaboration and Communication: Working collaboratively with colleagues and communicating effectively with parents regarding students’ academic progress and character development

• Bachelor’s degree in Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia, Pendidikan PPKn, or a related field
• Teaching experience at Primary and/or Secondary level is preferred
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum for Bahasa Indonesia and PPKn
• Good classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to encourage discussion, critical thinking, and literacy development
• Active proficiency in English is an advantage
