Merchant Acquisition

Senior Merchant Acquisition Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving the growth of our payment system, engaging, and onboarding new merchants. This position is responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract high-value merchants, fostering long-term partnerships, and ensuring a seamless integration process. The ideal candidate possesses deep experience in B2B sales, a strong understanding of the payments industry, and a proven track record of exceeding acquisition targets.

• Develop and implement merchant acquisition strategies to expand the merchant network and increase transaction volume
• Identify and approach prospective merchants across various industries through networking, business presentations, events, and direct outreach
• Build and maintain professional relationships with key decision makers within merchant organizations
• Conduct business negotiations and manage partnership agreements with merchants
• Coordinate with product, integration, and technical teams to ensure smooth merchant onboarding and system integration
• Analyze market trends, merchant needs, and competitor offerings to support acquisition strategy improvements
• Maintain records of sales pipeline activities, merchant acquisition progress, and merchant feedback

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in merchant acquisition, B2B sales, or business development within payments, fintech, or digital services industries
• Understanding of payment gateway systems, merchant onboarding processes, and digital payment ecosystems
• Experience in business negotiation and managing sales pipelines
• Familiarity with sales analytics tools or CRM systems
• Professional communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English
• Willing to travel for client meetings, conferences, and industry events
