Host Supervisor

Responsible for supervising the Host team and ensuring a smooth, welcoming, and professional guest experience from arrival until departure.

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Host/Hostess team.
• Ensure guests are welcomed warmly and professionally.
• Manage guest seating arrangements and table allocation efficiently.
• Monitor reservations, walk-in guests, and special requests.
• Coordinate with Service, Restaurant, and other departments regarding guest needs.
• Handle guest complaints and assist in resolving service issues professionally.
• Ensure the Host team follows grooming, service, and company standards.
• Prepare and manage the daily host schedule and station assignments.
• Conduct briefing and provide guidance to Host/Hostess team members.
• Monitor team performance and provide feedback when necessary.
• Assist with VIP guests, special events, and high-occupancy periods.
• Ensure the entrance and host station are clean, organized, and presentable.
• Maintain accurate guest and reservation information.
• Support training and development of new Host/Hostess team members.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

• Minimum 1 year of experience as Host/Hostess or in a similar supervisory role, preferably in hospitality.
• Good knowledge of guest service and restaurant operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written.
• Well-groomed, confident, friendly, and professional.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational and multitasking skills.
• Positive attitude and strong customer-service orientation.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
