This role is a comprehensive Barista position that balances expert beverage preparation with proactive sales and operational management. The primary focus is on delivering an exceptional customer experience through warm greetings, in-depth coffee education, and the efficient handling of orders and payments. Beyond crafting beverages and food, the role requires a high level of technical skill to calibrate and maintain professional coffee equipment, ensuring consistent quality and flavor.

In addition to front-facing service, the position involves significant operational and administrative duties. This includes driving revenue through upselling and retail promotions, managing inventory using the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method, and verifying supply deliveries for accuracy. The staff member is also responsible for the total upkeep of the cafe—ensuring all areas from the bar to the restrooms remain spotless—while strictly adhering to food safety regulations and providing detailed daily sales reports to management.

Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan :

  1. Welcome and greet customers.
  2. Informs new or seasonal products to customers.
  3. Educate customers of coffee and brewing methods.
  4. Receive customers' orders and payment.
  5. Prepare ordered beverages and foods.
  6. Serve ordered items to customers.
  7. Offer retail products and on going promotions.
  8. Prepare, calibrate, maintain, and control the coffee machines and grinders, and POS machine.
  9. Provide daily sales report.
  10. Upsells and cross-sells various menu items.
  11. Display retail products according to FIFO order.
  12. Receive delivered supplies and verify that the correct items and quantities have been delivered.
  13. Clean all cafe area (i.e. bar, seating area, restroom, parking, etc.).
  14. Adhere to all food safety regulations and quality controls.

Kualifikasi Pekerjaan :

  1. Minimum High School or equivalent.
  2. Experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service preferred.
  3. Training and willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation.
  4. Exceptional listening and communication skills.
  5. Excellent leadership and decision making skills.
  6. Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  7. Availability to work around peak hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  8. A polite, engaging personality.
  9. Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
  10. Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.
