Safety Officer

PT Vando Teknik Solusi is engaged in technical and industrial operations, requiring strong safety compliance to support high-risk work environments. This role focuses on ensuring workplace safety through inspections, risk assessments, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of safety procedures across daily operations.

• Conduct routine safety inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments across all work areas.
• Oversee the implementation and monitoring of PPE usage, work permits, and equipment safety standards.
• Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
• Develop, update, and maintain safety policies, emergency response plans, and evacuation procedures.
• Prepare daily, monthly, and annual OSH documentation, including JSA, HIRA, permits, and inspection reports.
• Deliver safety training, coordinate internal/external audits, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address safety findings and maintain operational safety readiness.

• Diploma or higher (relevant field) with approximately 5 years of experience in a similar Safety Officer role.
• Holds an active Ahli K3 Umum certification; POP certificate is an advantage.
• Knowledge of international safety codes, high-risk safety hierarchy, and mining/industrial SMKP systems.
• Experience in smelter, project, or mining-related work areas, including safety inspections and supervision.
• Understanding of electrical safety standards; experience in electrical-related safety work is a plus.
• Strong ability to plan, organize, document, and enforce safety procedures.
• English proficiency and solid Microsoft Office skills.
• Willing to work in field conditions and shift-based operations.
