Backend Developer

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems that support web applications, internal dashboards, and mobile applications. This role focuses on building secure, high-performance backend services and APIs using modern technologies and microservices architecture. 

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs to support: Web Applications, Internal Dashboards & Mobile Applications
• Ensure backend services are secure, scalable, and performance-optimized across all clients.
• Implement backend logic using NestJS and manage caching mechanisms with Redis.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize nginx for API routing and backend service delivery.
• Manage source control using GitLab (internal repositories) and GitHub (client-facing deployments).
• Understand and maintain end-to-end system flow, including data sources, processing, storage, security, and deployment.
• Collaborate closely with frontend and mobile engineers by providing clear API contracts and technical documentation.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize backend system performance and reliability.

• 5+ years experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role.
•  Strong expertise in NestJS (must-have).
•  Proficiency in Node.js/Express and TypeScript.
•  Solid understanding of REST API design and integration with web/mobile apps.
•  Hands-on experience with Redis (caching/session management).
•  Experience configuring and optimizing nginx for web apps/APIs.
•  Strong knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/NoSQL).
•  Familiarity with version control using GitLab and GitHub.
•  Ability to understand end-to-end system flow (data sources, processing, security, deployment).
•  Strong debugging, optimization, and problem-solving skills
