Senior Backend Developer

Job Title: Senior Backend Developer (Python) with DevOps experience (AWS) Location: Fully Remote OrangeUni is a digital-first company that builds scalable, high-impact platforms to meet modern user demands. We’re seeking a skilled Senior Python Backend Developer with DevOps experience to join our remote team. You’ll work on high-traffic systems involving streaming, image processing, and CRM integration while ensuring security and performance at scale.

1. Work with Python and Django to build and maintain backend services and REST APIs 2. Design and manage AWS infrastructure, including services like S3, RDS, CloudFront, and more 3. Implement OAuth flows and ensure robust authentication and authorization mechanisms 4. Integrate Celery and message brokers such as Redis or RabbitMQ for background processing 5. Containerize services using Docker and implement CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar) 6. Monitor, test, and debug production systems while optimizing for performance and security 7. Collaborate with frontend developers and external systems (e.g., CRM, third-party APIs)

-Experience with payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, Mollie) -Working knowledge of logging tools (Sentry) and testing frameworks (Pytest, Flake8) -Familiar with Vue.js or frontend-backend integration practices -Knowledge of PDF/image processing libraries (Pillow, PyMuPDF) -Experience with Django admin enhancements and internationalization
