We are looking for profesional Sous Chef to be the second in hierarchy after Head Chef, which means the person in this position has full control over the kitchen and is directly responsible of the food quality produced there, under his/her supervision.
Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan :
– Ensure the consistency in the preparation of all food items according to restaurant recipes and standards
– Ensure all kitchen colleagues are aware of standards & expectations
– Coach and provides leadership to all kitchen staff, providing input for performance, appraisal, and disciplinary action.
– Establish working schedule and assess staff performance
– Balance operational, administrative and colleague needs
– Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards
– Conduct daily shift briefings to kitchen colleagues
– Managing a team of 15-20 people
– Monitoring of food stock and stock movement
– Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen area and a food warehouse
– Ensure hygiene and freshness of all foodstuff
Syarat Pengalaman :
Have commitment to quality service, food cost management, food and beverage knowledge
– Min. 2-3 years experience in the same position
– Influent in English both oral & written
– Ability to work under pressure
– Strong leadership & communication skills
– Strong organizational and planning skills
