We are seeking a talented Senior Accountant with excellent English and Bahasa Indonesia language skills, and who is able to work in a team as the part of The Practice Family.

This position will be located in our beautiful Yoga Centre in Canggu, Bali.

Candidates without strong English skills should not apply. The initial interview will be conducted by phone in English to ensure candidates have the requisite English language skills.

Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan :

The successful candidate must have the following mandatory skills and experience:
• A Bachelor Accounting or equivalent qualification
• Registered Chartered Accountant in Indonesia (CA) – Please mention this if you have it
• Strong experience with Taxation and Brevet A & B / C qualifications
• Member of IKPI or already pass the USKP exam is a plus
• A thorough understanding and experience with small business accounting software packages
• At least 5 years of experience working as an accountant or in a senior accounting role
• Excellent English language skills (ability to independently conduct meetings and training with western customers in English)
• an understanding of accounting practices and ability to advise clients in respect of setup of general ledger structures. cash vs accrual accounting, cash flow and budgeting, asset registers and depreciation, taxation and compliance and taxation relating to assets and director contributions
• Strong knowledge of Accounting set up for small medium enterprises
• Strong knowledge and experience in payroll/ BPJS calculation
• Experience with one of either Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks
• Experience in taxation, submitting taxation report, completing annual tax returns and processing with Dept Pajak
• Experience in taxation audits, and handling cases with Dept Pajak
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Training and advising other staff on taxation matters
• Client meetings and training of clients in both English and Indonesian (for training local staff)
• Managing a team of bookkeepers and accountants in completing processing of client accounts
• Supporting the CFO with regular reporting on project progress, time recording and billing and team utilization
• Reviewing the work of other accountants to ensure quality, accuracy and compliance with Indonesian requirements
• Oversee process.ng of accounts payable and receivable and ensure prompt collection of receivables
• Prepare accounting reports related to payroll
• Oversee and maintain contracts with related suppliers/vendors
• Maintain an orderly and accurate financial filling system
• Maintain an accurate chart of accounts
• Work with the executive director to prepare monthly and annual operating budgets
• Prepare accurate monthly financial statements
• Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
• Supervise the recording of cash receipts and bank deposits
• Performs monthly reconciliations of bank accounts
• Monitor cash flow
• Comply with local slate and federal government reporting requirements
• Purchase supplies and equipment as authorized by Executive Director
• Tag and monitor fixed assets and equipment
• Ensure all bills and invoices are paid within 30 days of receipt
• Attend monthly Finance Committee Meetings and complete assigned action items
• Prepare reports for the executive director and the Finance Committee as requested
• Work with the auditor during the months of July, August and September to facilitate the completion the annual audit
• Prepare bank transfers and work with broker to receive and sell donations of stock
• Maintain updated policies and ensure compliance to all policies
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Syarat Pengalaman :
3 years minimum experience in Accounting
Keahlian :

General Qualifications:
• Graduate from Bachelor Degree (S1) Accountancy from reputable university.
• Minimum 3 (three) years’ experience in knowledge and experience of International Accountancy system
• English speaking and written
• Mature, confident, highly motivated, accurate, good communication & interpersonal skills.
• Well organized, attention to detail, ability to perform well under pressure, ability to work independently, doesn’t mind to go the extra mile when needed, able to keep confidentiality.
• Attentive, polite, professional appearance, punctual, outgoing personality, excellent social skills, proactive, flexible, polyvalent, team player.
• Computer literate
• Full-time work and based in Bali.
• Candidate should have a strong personality, good manner, fair, honest.
